At this event, three new videos will be shown: a brief intro to WOPG/WOPI - "One Purpose," a special video featuring Wadi Rawat - "My Daddy," and a closing video "The Sky's the Limit"

We will hear more about these organizations and find out how we can help to make Maharaji's vision a reality!

Time:
7:00 PM - 10:00 PM
Location:
Albany Community Center
Note:
Edith Stone Room
Address:
1249 Marin Avenue
City:
Albany
Directions:
The Center is the large building at 1249 Marin Avenue, between Evelyn and Masonic, just before the elevated BART track, painted in terracotta and cream stripes. There is some parking in the rear and plenty of street parking. It is about .75 mile from the freeway.

From the east (Sacramento) I-80 going west. Take Albany exit (just after El Cerrito). Turn left on frontage road at end of ramp and continue to lights at Buchanan Street, under overpass. Turn left (toward the hills). Continue up the street as Buchanan Street becomes Marin and go straight through the major intersection at San Pablo Avenue. Continue up Marin Avenue.

From Oakland and San Francisco I-80/580 toward Sacramento. Take Albany/Buchanan Street exit (just after Berkeley). Turn right at the end of the ramp onto Buchanan Street. Continue up the street as it becomes Marin and go straight through the major intersection at San Pablo Avenue. Continue up Marin Avenue.

From Richmond/San Rafael Bridge 580 going east. Take the Buchanan Street exit. This is the left-hand exit off the freeway directly after the Central Avenue exit. Turn left at the light at the end of the off ramp (towards hills). Continue up the street as Buchanan Street becomes Marin and go straight through the major intersection at San Pablo Avenue. Continue up Marin Avenue.

Albany Community Center from BART. Get out at El Cerrito Plaza (on the Richmond line). One could walk (20 minutes) along the bicycle path under the BART tracks, going south, and they would see the Community Center where the path crosses Marin Avenue (the street after the shopping street, Solano). It's a big pink building with white stripes.

OR you can catch the 43 or the 72 bus outside the BART station going south. Ask for the closest stop to Marin Avenue, and walk up the broad street (towards the hills and away from the freeway) four or five short blocks to the Community Center.

The bus would be safer than the bicycle path at night.
